Our take
The Mixstream Pro + improves on the original with a larger 7-inch display and extra pads. The standalone operation is seamless—I can stream directly from Tidal without a laptop. The display is bright and responsive, making track browsing easy. The built-in speakers are still only useful for monitoring, but that's expected. The pitch faders are smooth, and the effects are decent. However, the jog wheels are capacitive and not as satisfying as motorized ones. At $729, it's a solid upgrade for those wanting more control, but the price jump over the standard Mixstream Pro is significant.
